Why YOU should be with us at the Festival of Faiths
Greetings, Partners in Faith!
We are
two weeks from the third annual Festival of Faiths. At Interfaith San Antonio Alliance, we believe that we are stronger together. The mission we share builds connections that create incredible community. We have been working hard to gather music, community, art, food, dancing, play, conversation and more to strengthen the communities of faith in San Antonio for our Festival at NW Vista College’s Palmetto Arts Center on October 25th.
As a Lutheran pastor of more than 20 years, I know how valuable events like the Festival are for the enrichment and education of communities of faith. Before I was Executive Director, I brought my confirmands and parishioners to experience the event. Each person reported an expansion of understanding and a growth in appreciation and admiration of their neighbors of different faith traditions.
It feels like even with the world at our fingertips in our devices, we are more disconnected than ever. We need each other. Toward that end, I would humbly ask if you would help us bring as many San Antonians together on October 25th as we can. The event will be drop in between 12-6. Bring your adults who have questions, your curious young people, your tried and true elders – everyone that joins the day brings the gift of themselves and will receive more than they imagined.
